๐ Stolen!!! Blythe would probably drink on their own every now and then... I mean, who wouldn't when you live in Elderfield?
You know... Out of all the things I've seen, I have never seen a proper zombie yet.
Oh no. Maybe they shouldn't have said anything... "Uh, well, there's a lot of areas that the cults love going to but uhhh..." Blythe paused and hummed, "Well, the most friendly should be Gatis and they should be in the Old Woods, personally selling their wares."
"I see. This is much worse than I thought. Well then...!" He twirls on his heels with renewed vigor... And some bit of amusement. This was a twist he'd not been expecting, but he'd be lying if he said he wasn't intrigued. "Where can I find these cultists? I'd love to speak with them~!"
"Ah, yes! We do! From small, medium, and large sized eggs." Blythe smiled and looked at the eggs, "I have a link to our order form. I can send that to you through your number." The crows caw again and Blythe moved away from the coop, apologizing a bit, "Sorry for the noise."
โAh. Hello. I received a card to call if I ever needed produceโฆ. I was wondering if you had any eggs?โ Hopefully his mom appreciated farm raised eggs and not store brought.
Blythe hummed and closed their eyes, "Well, first off, thank you for telling me. Second, well, you haven't tried to kill me so I'm sure you're okay. Don't worry, I'm not dropping you just because you're different." They chuckle, finally relaxing and smiling, "Hell, I'm not even sure if I'm human."
"But I'm not born a wolf that shifts into a person, nor reverse. I was cursed... But I don't understand why I was. I think it was because I was always mean and stuff... And I pissed off the wrong person."
"Ah, it's a little cluttered inside too but don't worry, your room will be cleaner than most of my other spaces." Blythe chuckled and smiled, continuing to enter the room. Immediately, they're greeted with a pink brain floating infront of them and a yowling cat. The farmer laughed and moved forโ
Upkeep with the yard. "I still think it looks nice! I don't mind the mess outside as much as the inside usually."
Too dangerous to be seductive in Elderfield;;; Not with all the tentacles around.

Blythe hummed as they answered the call from their phone, "Truett Residence, Farmer of Hans' Farm and Produce speaking." They winced when a particularly loud call of a crow echoed behind them, sighing as they picked up some eggs.
โโฆโ Heโs strongly debating on it. Ah, fuck itโ heโll give them a call and see if they have any eggs. Hopefully theyโre normal eggs and not something strange.
Well, he still did have Blythe's card and name. Or they're probably around, doing whatever weird stuff that warranted whatever strange things they say. ...still, it can't hurt to ask if they got eggs to sell.
{ @local-sane-farmer.bsky.social } โThe farmer? Oh, that reminds meโฆ Mom told me to pick up eggs on the way home.โ
Blythe stared at Adam, eyes a bit wide now and for a moment, they thought he was joking... Until they realized he wasn't and the farmer went silent. "...werewolf? Like actual shapeshifting to a wolf creature kind?" They ask, their defenses raising but they just...don't see themselves hurting Adam.
He made a whining noise, fearing more. But he had to trust them. After one more piece of chocolate he would swallow that and that anxious feeling. "I did this to myself... I- I'm a werewolf... P-please don't be afraid of me though! I-I don't wanna hurt anyone!"
Blythe chuckled and nodded, handing over the bag, "Okay, okay. You worry too much, I'm just trying to be a good neighbor is all but I'm glad to have a kind and optimistic person like you around." They smile and continue to take them to their house, looking a bit embarrassed as they gestured to it.
"You're awesome for this, really! My daughter's gonna love them. And I'll try to befriend your pets while I stay hereโ I'll probably get along with one of them for sure." Adam then offered his hand to help carry the bags. "Please let me carry those for you. I'd feel bad if I didn't help."
"Nothing to apologize for." Blythe stated firmly, looking over and smiling a bit, "It's okay, Adam. Seriously. You're my friend and it's only right that I help you. Besides, I'd feel terrible if I don't." They sigh and move to sit beside Adam this time, taking some chocolate for themselves.
He was so stressed out over something back at home. Of course he bites himself to ease it... He wished he doesn't sometimes. "Hey, I wanna just.. I wanna say thank you for helping me and I'm sorry for being a bother."
"I hope so. My cat loves to bite and my pink brain loves to hide in my laundry." Blythe sighed and smiled, "Also, don't worry. I bake sometimes and make candy for myself. I don't mind making you some and maybe you can share them with your daughter too."
Adam frowns, pouting over there possibly not going to be many sweets around stores and dining places like he had hoped. But then he perked up once he heard Blythe making homemade sweets! "Yay! That'll be wonderful! But as for your pets... I'm sure they'll get along with me eventually!"
Blythe nodded and groaned, getting up and leaning into Proton's hold for support. They are positively shitfaced "Mm... They always come in anyways... The rats, the creeps and shit... Doesn't matter h-how safe I try t-to make it..." They sniffle, frowning, "They always come in..."
[Hovering over the farmer, he can't help but chuckle.] That's the muscle. Dense, right? C'mon, lets get you up. Gotta close the window before something gets in. [He gets off of them, and offers a hand.]
"Perfect. Just give them a good stab and we can skin them later. For now, I'm gonna water the plants." Blythe paused and looked at the knives, frowning before handing him a...spiked bat they picked up sat against the farm fence, "Also, if you spot something strange, call me immediately."
Does it matter how? Got some knives on me, I could slice them up. [He takes out one of his knives for emphasis, and holds it out so Blythe can see.]
Blythe paused and sighed, holding their hands up, "Yeah, sure, fine. Whatever you say. Get out then." Rolling their eyes, they began to check the corpse and got some money, some weird bottle, and- "Woah. Soulfruit seeds." They grin and pocket it immediately, soon covering the body with a cloth.
Who said I have to help you? I don't need to tell you anything. [He crosses his arms, definitely not helping with this.] Told you my job's done...
Blythe nodded and smiled, leaning back in their armchair while adjusting the strap of their tank top, "Of course. Just don't eat too much, yeah?" Looking closely, Blythe had a binder on and wore sweatpants. Multiple scars littered their body, some deep and others recent.
Piece of chocolate at the same time. "Yummy! The chocolate is delicious! Thank you for the drink and sweets."
"Oh, right." Blythe smiled, "Well, we have a saloon and a mall but they're not exactly big on sweets. The anomaly shop comes by sometimes so let's hope he comes when you're around." They soon picked up the bagged goods and said goodbye to the cashier, leaving the store.
"Mmm coffee with both..." He was lost in thought for a moment before he shook his head. "I was here visiting. Wanting to see what local sweets you have to offer."
I can't sleep. It's getting harder to do so with so much noises outside... ... I'm actually scared.
"Uh, I got a box of chocolates." Blythe nodded and hummed, "And some nice, cold beer. We'll have those." They headed for the kitchen, grabbing the beer and chocolate. Looking at Blythe, it's strange to see them out of their usual coat and scarf as they handed the goods.
"Do you... Uh, have any alcohol that would go great in hot chocolate?" A strange request, but he wanted alcohol and something sweet. "But if you don't, I can have a beer and something to snack on. If that's okay."
"Then, I'll get both and we can share them later," Blythe smiled and picked up the box of creamers, "Here we go. Let's buy some spices too and we can go." They brought the stuff back to the cashier, paying up, "Anyways... What did you say you wanted to do here in Elderfield again?"
Adam ended up following Blythe like a lost puppy, trying to stay out of their way at least. "Heh.. um... I'll take vanilla or caramel. I'm not too picky! But it's your money too, so get what you like!"
"Good." Blythe sighed and frowned, genuinely worried as they finished up fixing up Adam's wounds. People of Elderfield are used to all the things happening so in some way, they know how to defend themselves. So Blythe couldn't help but be scared that a new friend might just die out there...
You present..."
"Hey, it's nothing to apologize for." Blythe laughed and actually petted his head, "If anything, I seriously appreciate it. As for not buying..." The farmer looked around and made sure they steered clear of the stranger parts of the tiny shop before finding the aisle, "Vanilla creamer, right?"
"Ah, sorry, I get that way at times. Not sure why though..." He then looked around as he stood there, shrugging. "I don't think I'll buy anything just yet. I'll come back tomorrow to look again for something!"
"What?? Did you attempt the Silly Dog ritual or something????" Blythe stared, bewildered and concerned now as they kept treating Adam's wounds, "That is so dangerous. Granted, I've done it before but that's because I can beat it by myself. But you??? Or a normal citizen?? You're lucky you got away."
He's shifting in his seat as he's trying to figure out the best lie to tell about the bites. He really should say what did that. "It was a dog-creature. Um, not so friendly under stress I guess." He's definitely describing himself at this point. But he seems to keep his gaze to the floor.
