Summary:

Oh. Izuku shakes as the adrenaline thrumming in his veins turns him cold. Kacchan’s invitation to join his agency makes sense. So does his aggression when they’re called onto the same jobs. All of it is an effort to coax the fighting spirit back out of Izuku. He should have known Kacchan wouldn’t quit so easily.

And Izuku’s smiling refusals, his hesitance; his half-in, half-out approach to reviving his childhood dream. This is where it’s gotten them. Locked in his own head.

While attempting to stop a bank robbery, Izuku and Katsuki suddenly find themselves on an extended trip down memory lane. They'll need to communicate in order to find a way back. Should be easy, right? Except nothing seems to be easy between them these days.
