Today's jobs report is a reminder that tax cuts for corporations and the rich don’t create jobs or grow the economy. What's required is investment in working people — and better wages. When workers have money to spend, the economy grows and businesses create more jobs. Remember this.

Dear Donny, guess who was president a year ago? You. Explains a lot.
ICE BEHIND THE MASKS HAVE NAMES 2 masked agents threatened to arrest Robert Peck for legally observing them. He sued. “And now, because of a lawsuit, the (ICE) agents have names.” A Hylton 📌Nicholas Lapointe 📌Christopher Semler I hope more people take ICE to court when their rights are violated.
On this day in 1994, the Clinton administration's heathcare reform plan was declared "dead" by Congress. Over 30 years later, the US is still the only industrialized country without universal healthcare. This should be a national outrage.
A recent survey found that 92% of U.S. adults have delayed or avoided medical care due to high costs. Meanwhile, a new study from Yale estimates that Medicare for All would save over 114,000 lives and $1 trillion a year. If this country was truly “pro-life,” we would have universal healthcare.
NO media 1000s are marching in DC to defend voting rights; 90 orgs signed on, Reuters sent photographers, but local media Bernie Sanders, AOC and Martin Luther King III attended Wa Post buried it A Black-led march is visible in DC only after somebody else reports it Repost the march they buried
Why would I care about “illegals” in the country when the worst people the world has to offer are already in our White House?

If the Senate's budget is enacted, millions will lose health insurance, millions will fall into poverty, and the national debt will increase by $3.3T. All of this to provide a major tax cut mainly to the rich and big corporations. There is no justification for this.
One need not look further than the Republican Party to see just how much pain someone will inflict on a stranger for money. #firsttheycamefor
A reminder as people hit the road for Labor Day weekend.
The best thing I’ve seen this week. If this was a show, not our actual lives, I’d watch it.
👀 MUST WATCH: This video is so well done — and absolutely hilarious! 🤣🤣
When there’s so much “smoke” on Trump & Elon fixing the 2024 election, why doesn’t anyone of authority even raise an eyebrow? Both of these evildoers stated it publicly. How can we make sure the wrong is righted and that it doesn’t happen again? Elon even said GOP—don’t worry… x.com/buffywoods/s...

People are exhausted. They don’t want another political fight every morning. They want: affordable healthcare. affordable housing. affordable groceries. Imagine that. A government that actually works.
30 years ago this would have been the purview of local newspapers. In Washington, it was the Seattle Times who broke the Booth Gardner story and the Seattle PI who broke the Mike Lowry scandal. KY's major papers are owned by USA Today, McClatchy, and Paxton Media Group who've destroyed local beats.
On this I cannot disagree. Mainstream media and legacy media have been bought and paid for and are willing turning a blind eye to an obvious coverup. No one is willing to go to the hospital and find out the truth? Shameful.
We & the media are NOT talking enough about how a Florida grand jury found that $10 million was funneled from a settlement intended to benefit Florida taxpayers to Ron DeSantis’s wife’s illegitimate “charity” (that never registered with the IRS), where it was laundered before it got to the FLA GOP.
