Its hard to explain to older gens (especially boomers) why we dont have homes, new cars or feel safe about retirement. You have to hand hold them and force prices in their face to make it click. Even then they tend To believe we arent working hard Enough.

“Music publications BrooklynVegan, Alternative Press, Revolver, and Goldmine have been gutted by parent company Veeps... Nearly all the staff at each publication appear to have been laid off yesterday. Veeps, which is now owned by Live Nation, acquired the publications in 2024 or 2025”

One time this band on some random bill covered “Wake Me Up When September Ends” and *exactly* where the big epic music video pauses the song for the big dramatic scene they stopped playing & acted out the scene word for word. It is to this day one of the funniest things I’ve ever seen in my life
