We just started a little local show in Cheshire called ConnectiComix and it was all free to table all local CT comics folk, most of us just having an excuse to get together and sell wares. There's some good comics folk here. And we're doing it again next year for CT cartoonists who'd like to show!

guys i grew up in ct & fucking hated it. if you're tri state area there are a million better shows you can drive to including but not limited to MICE in Boston & all of the NYC shows. if you must go to ct go to the peabody museum or the aquarium in mystic nobody goes for comics lmfao

Imagine the sound of me audibly blinking. aslkdjfh I hope more doujin, small press, and zine events get super active and successful and then the big cons have to look at each other, scratch their heads a little bit, and stop fleecing broke artists/only allowing space for ones that can take the hit.

DO NOT APPLY TO OR ATTEND THIS SHOW. I don't care if it's in your backyard. You can bet that every convention runner is watching this and the bad ones are salivating at this idea of $150 application fees, plus jacked up booth rates. If it works for this show, they WILL try it at theirs.
