Artist! Quote with the artwork you cannot explain! I indeed can’t explain this piece. It emerged from a place of deep sadness I was carrying at the time.

Say hi to Izzie/Entwines-Smiles-with-Claws: Child of Gaia Ahroun, elder Garou, generally calm optimist, and currently reeling from post-Frenzy clarity. It's only a week until Rage Across Tampa is back! Art by @yarugreat.bsky.social #wod #wta #w5 #stpetebynight #commission #art #character

Isidoro "Izzie" Deras AKA Entwines-Smiles-with-Claws, a Child of Gaia Ahroun, Garou, and all around nice guy. In the top image, he stands in the center of a forest background, smiling with glee and giving finger-guns to the camera. He's wearing casual gym wear and is sporting his standard ruffled hair. All in all, a peaceful scene of serenity. In the bottom image, he stands in a smoke-filled urban street. A car fire burns to the left, casting harsh shadows across his body. He's wearing casual gym wear and is sporting his standard ruffled hair. However, he's not giving finger-guns and instead holding his hands close to his chest in revulsion. Blood stains his hands, chest, and face, giving the impression that he's just calmed down from a werewolf frenzy against people he maybe didn't want to kill. Izzie's eyes are wide and haunted as he realizes just what he's done. A terrible sight for a warrior of Gaia. Both images are designed to overlap in Izzie's pose, giving a before-vs-after contrast to heighten the highs and lows.
