Panel 2 is a wider shot of the apartment, this time we see Jayce from the back, wearing a shirt but still wearing his makeshift leg brace, his hexcorised hammer is next to him. The interior shows changes from season 1, there are many new inventions and some traces of damage on the walls. Ximena enters from the left, calling "Jayce? Am I--" Here we see a small panel 3, quick flashback to S1 act 2 Jayce looking back. Panel 4 and 5 are a shot of Jayce's hand on a blueprint sketch, then Ximena approaching him. "Oh, you're already working? You should be resting." Jayce replies, "I will, ma. Once this new brace design is done." Panel 6 to 8, Ximena says with a concerned expression, "I've made your bed. But I can't seem to find your blanket..." Jayce replies, "... I lost it at the lab." He is looking sadly to the direction of panel 8, which shows a flashback of Viktor in S2 act 1, seen from the back, leaving him while still wearing his blanket.

Page 2, panel 1. We skip to scene from S2 act 3, after Viktor and Jayce's battle in the council room. A shot of Viktor in the cocoon. Panel 2 shows Singed outside the cocoon next to tubes connected to Warwick. He says, "So, it's finally time. The "final, glorious evolution" you spoke of." Panel 3 and 4 cuts to Viktor in the astral space. He says, looking at his hand, "Yes. Although, things have changed. I told you of a path, back then, guided by an invisible hand." Panel 5, Viktor is deep in thought with a small smile, touching his chin. "I have decided." Panel 6 is a quick flashback to Jayce's back in the council room, on the physical book it mirrors the previous page's Viktor flashback. Panel 7, Viktor continues, right hand now holding his left wrist. It will be by MY own hands. I will redefine what I am." The word my is emphasised. We cut to Jayce, somewhere else, also deep in thought with his hand on his chin.

Jayce is all of us, panicking over accidentally inviting people over to his (and Viktor's!) tiny apartment. Well, perhaps our accidental guests aren't the elite of Piltover.. Writer @froggyrock.bsky.social and artist @clymemeclash.bsky.social have created quite the tale!

"He has started to collect his things when Mel drops the bomb on him:
“Let me know if you need any help with your dinner party.” Seeing Jayce’s blank stare, she raises her eyebrows. “Oh, dear. I suppose you must have gotten drunk earlier than I thought.”
“My… dinner party?” He can feel panic rising in him.
Mel nods. “Yesterday, while mingling with the representatives of the mercantile clans,” oh no, “you expressed your desire to discuss the future of Hextech in a more peaceful environment,” oh no, “and came up with the idea of hosting a dinner. You started jotting down invites. It might not be the height of class, but thankfully, your future guests found it rather endearing.”
Jayce can feel himself growing hot. “Do you, uh, happen to know what the invites said?”
Mel laughs, a charming, twinkling sound. “Really, Jayce? Do you have trouble remembering where you live?” she teases.

If you read a fanfic for even 5 minutes and it makes you crack a smile, leave a comment telling the author that. something as simple as "this made me smile" matters a lot when majority of writers are either getting no comments or botted AI hate comments suicidebaiting on AO3
