Dogs, dev, dragons, and droids. Not an actual ostrich. Enjoyed the astrariums in Dragon Age: Inquisition? Try Starglyphs: https://starglyphs.com

Don’t really have many words about the BioWare shutdown other than 1) I am very sad and 2) I’ll be following and continuing to follow the many talented devs who have worked on the games I grew up with to whatever new projects they have next. ❤️

As a huge fan of narrative games, RPGs, and interactive fiction, I have been working for some time on a tool to help me make my own games easily. It is not called Choose Your Own Ostrich I‘m afraid. But it does have different colored themes to pick from! Excited to show more soon!

Also if you end up playing and liking Starglyphs, I would be VERY grateful if you'd leave a review on Steam! This helps the game show up for more people, so that they too can find a pretty puzzle game that may or may not make them determined to beat the highest star count difficulty.😤

This is just some random ostrich take but Dragon Age: The Veilguard had some of the best moments in the entire series across all aspects of the game (and some of the worst). The BB article is a worthy read but it’s the leadership who should really take notes and I fear that won’t be the case.

Finished Eternal Strands this evening. Great story, fantastic world building, and really fun combat. I also appreciated how much it seemed to respect my time. I wish the studio the most success and could definitely see myself going on more adventures in this setting!

Got to a certain part in Eternal Strands where I was absolutely hooked by the plot. Unfortunately I still have to work and it’s hard to focus when you’re thinking about why everyone really should just listen to Laen from now on.
