My high school had a lip sync contest. My friends and I chose Crazy Train, and I was Ozzy. I filled a rubber bat with hamburger meat, and during the solo I bit its head off and spat it into the lap of the head cheerleader. Huge respect to #ozzy and thanks for showing us another way.

The Sword Defiant by Gareth Hanrahan is exactly what I was looking for right now. Well written high fantasy in a vivid world, with political squabbles and factions threatening to tear apart an alliance against a clear evil. Plus an excellent exploration of the elven perspective on immortality.

in the waning days of the '80s and the early days of the '90s, Epic Comics released a short run of Hellraiser comics. One of the stories resonated with me through the decades, but I couldn't remember the name. Today I found it! Vol 2, "Writer's Lament" by Dwayne McDuffie and art by Kevin O'Neill

Never feel bad about a writing slump. It happens to everyone. But also remember that the only thing separating "I don't know how to write anymore" from "I am the best writer who ever lived" is writing one thing that makes you happy, no matter how small.
