If you are in another part of Hollywood, like writer or actor or live action role… and have friends in animation… you should check in on them and try to find ways to get them back into the mix. We are all struggling and I’m worried about us all in my biz.
and i hope it topples their business
Jason Schreier@jasonschreier.bsky.social · 3h agoNEW: Epic Games has delayed its upcoming (not yet announced) Star Wars + Marvel shooter as it pivots to complete AI game development. "No more hand-written code," a director told staff. All art "generated with full AI workflows." Full scoop: www.bloomberg.com/news/article...
Van Gogh used references all the time, he just painted what he saw. Using reference isn’t a limiter.
LaurenWalshArt@laurenwalshart.bsky.social · 8h agoUse reference. I’m serious. I get it that somehow you or someone convinced you that using reference is “cheating.” It’s not. You are just hindering yourself.
Public Domain Art is the lifeblood of small tabletop rpgs, but it can be a nightmare trying to find the right art and license. This week, I’ve re-uploaded my old list from 2020 (with updates) of public domain websites. That's 500,000+ public domain paintings, photos, maps, and film. Link below 🔗👇

When @keymonster.bsky.social put out a special deal for horses, I IMMEDIATELY had to inquire if "unicorns counted". I'm going to be honest: I have wanted to see their take on "the unicorn of the lilac wood" from The Last Unicorn for AGES. I'm still just in awe of this piece.
These two definitely got something going on
Finished my self-indulgent little lineup for this silly little book I'm working on! The working title is "Dragon's Daughter." An exiled Elf agrees to escort a lost girl back to her home, but her affinity with all dragons make her the target of a vast and far-reaching conspiracy. A Fantasy Adventure.
I am learning to be more and more concise in my responses
