a cool thing about bluesky for the bluesky company is that because users have already opted into the service and leaving would incur a personal social or financial penalty, they can basically depend on the tech savvy userbase to handle explaining all of their stupid/baffling interface choices

As a non-AI user I don't really know what he's referring to here. Is the AI voice flattering him while also doing his job (presumably poorly)? Because that's big weird.
Having to live through people re-writing history 17 seconds after it happens is my least favorite part of living in 2026. And I know that’s always happened, but like. We had TV and internet in 2020. I KNOW you, personally, saw those morgue trucks. Why are you willing to be so transparently lied to??
It’s hard to explain but tv was better when you couldn’t watch the show you wanted whenever you wanted to watch it and most of the shows were worse and the TVs were worse and the entire experience was worse, that’s when it was better

Well-made quality stuff costs more, but every time people see it, they complain. Food, clothes, appliances, pet treats, vacations and journalism too. Then I remember if I want something to exist, I have to spend money on it.

I don't really have the mental space to argue about Covid-19 lockdowns when 1) people still don't wear a mask on public transit or planes, especially while sick; or 2) wash their hands properly after using the bathroom. If you do have the time and energy, godspeed.

I’m not sure what to do when I see AI being used in protest flyers and art. I see it in a lot of them, like no matter whether its for a left or right leaning cause. I’m not really able to give people a pass when I see it, even when it’s their side I agree with. IT SUCKS.
If you use chatgpt to make pictures of food for your restaurant ads I have to assume you are desperately hoping to collect on insurance when your restaurant burns down
