I don't know where you even start to explain how woeful these UK newspaper front pages are.

It’s not the most well written, but I am enjoying it, and supposedly it gets spicy 😂
It is dad’s 21st death anniversary today. I desperately wish I knew him as an adult. Tried to clear my head with a walk, then do my Eid shop to get my niblings’ gifts. But then suddenly took a funny spell and have spent the rest of the day laying on the sofa/in bed poorly.
I finished this yesterday. It was ok…. Clumsy in parts, boring in parts, and really interesting in other parts. Not my favourite read of the year so far, but for a first time novelist - not bad!
Posted this very average picture of me (aside from the extra lippy) on X, and since then have had so many creeps DMing me with all sorts. Why do men… 🤷🏽♀️
Has such a brilliant whistle stop tour at Sawston Village College delivering CPD today, alongside some legends @mrlockyer.bsky.social @missdcox.bsky.social 🥰
I’m finally home! I made it back in one piece - didn’t get murdered/trafficked. None of my clothes are washed though, so I guess I’ll be wearing a summer wardrobe tomorrow 😅
Books make the best companions! Thank you for accompanying me on my first ever solo trip away, Bilbo Baggins. Onto du Maurier now…
Accidentally ended up in a fancy Michelin star restaurant where they give you more courses than you ordered. Took my really fancy* new bag with me. *trashy
I still have a hoarse voice, and achy sinuses, and my inner ears are painful and keep crunching… But I’m in Italy. And the guys who run this hotel are SO nice, they’ve just brought me up some honey and lemon tea. 😢
No one would whisk me away to Italy. So I just whisked myself away 💁🏽♀️
Usually I run a few miles at 5am on a Friday morning. Today, I flew a few thousand miles…
Do I know any excel spreadsheet experts? 😇 I need help!
Last couple of weeks has been tough as HOF. Things I’ve had to juggle: - job descriptions - departments I don’t have an expertise in - deciding on interventions - staff morale - WWW/EBI Wouldn’t it be nice if there was a hotline you could call & someone would give you advice? 😭
Happy 4 year anniversary to me having a menty-b over recording an assembly video in lockdown. Good old days 😅
Very seldom do I feel absolutely bereft when I finish a book. To the point that I finished it and just re-read the first chapter again, contemplating re-reading the whole thing. This is an incredible book.
I’ve not moved over properly here because I feel like I see about three posts from the people I’ve followed. There’s also very little boxing news on here. I miss the olden days of Twitter 😭😭😭
Does anyone do any calisthenics workouts? If so, how do you get motivated, what do you do and for how long?
Word of the day is one I mention often. To have the ‘mubble-fubbles’, in the 16th century, was to experience a fit of despondency or low spirits - another name for the Sunday blues.
Respair is definitely the word of this year for me ♥️
Word of the Day is one I keep posting at the end of the year, hoping its time will come. ‘Respair’, from the 16th century, is fresh hope, and a recovery from despair. Here’s to a few drops of respair in 2025.
Oscar the Tesco cat 😍 I’m hugely allergic but I love a cuddle with this baby. Best cat in the world.
