It is *not* the same thing as a stimulus payment. It is a bribe to induce specific behavior. And the giving of money for voting is illegal under at least two federal statues. I get that you're so inured to Trump's illegality that your instinct is to make excuses for him, but it's still a crime.
Don't do it. Don't be swayed by offers of free money from political candidates. One, you will not ever receive a dime, and two, you will have voted to worsen your own economic outcome.
