Finished knitting the snowflakes that will become part of a Christmas decoration in our dining room, once December arrives. I plan to use fabric stiffener and then hang them from a string of lights in the 3 windows.
Made myself a pimento cheese sandwich with lettuce, sprouts, and cherry tomatoes that we grew, and I think that may be the most "summer Sundays in the south" sandwich ever. 😊
For #showmeyourknits texture week, this simple washcloth isn't the fanciest, but I really like the texture of that meandering seam.
Kudos to ABC/ Disney for their programming today and last night, which has so beautifully celebrated the diversity and natural beauty of the USA. It's been really well done.

For the stripes week in #showmeyourknits , a shawl I made in 2024. I love the seafood stitch. This was the second one I'd made in this pattern. The pattern is on Ravelry (Marron by Madeleine Windsor) and it was done in one of Sweet Georgia Yarn's "Party of Five" collections.
1) Someone really needs to push back on this idea of 1st Amendment zones. I haven't taught polisci 101 in 20 years, but last time I checked the entire US was a 1st Amendment zone. 2) What's the point of having 1st Amendment zones if you're just going to have police rampage through them?
