but "just friends" don't look at each other like that.
I think I could be a worthy opponent but I'd rather fight alongside him, not with him.
How would your muse fair in a fight against Superman?
❤️ — For a fact about Livia Drusilla. The epic wife of Rome’s First Emperor.
Just for a heads-up, block and report @startrekfan79.bsky.social. He's a creep, a chaser, and a menace to women. Please repost to spread the word.
"She can." *The TARDIS blipped again and Romana looked at the console as if she were deep in thought.* "She can hear you. She's curious about you. I think she likes you already."
“Woah… so she speaks to you?! In your mind??” Richie crouches down to get a closer look. “Hello, Tardis,” he whispers. “Can you hear me?”
"I forgot to mention that the TARDIS is a fully sentient and emotional being. She's also telepathic." *The TARDIS blipped, surprised that someone other than Romana was touching her. Romana stroked the console to let her know everything was okay.*
Richie tentatively heads towards the center console and gingerly touches it. “She? Like a boat?”
*She nodded.* "As long as you're careful. She doesn't like being messed with too much by someone she doesn't know, but she knows I wouldn't bring someone in if they're not trustworthy."
“I’ve never seen another TARDIS,” Richie murmurs in shock. “Can I — Can I touch anything??”
"Amazing, I know. It's not exactly like the Doctor's TARDIS. Mine is just a bit fancier."
Richie thought he had it all figured out before he stepped inside. He still doesn’t have the words to describe what’s in front of him, and dissolves into stutters. “This — this is —“
"Something like that." *She opened the door to reveal her TARDIS inside.*
Richie clicks his tongue. “Let me guess: there’s a warp transmitter inside, and it’s bigger than it actually looks. Or a pocket dimension.”
"It's right here." *She gestured toward a blue 1960s-style British police box, a disguise for the TARDIS she had adopted from the Doctor.* "Don't worry, this is only a disguise for it."
“A bright future,” Richie repeats softly. “Wow… okay, I’m ready! Where’s your ship? Uh — TARDIS?
"I sensed that it was right. You have a bright future, Richie, but you won't get there the way you're living now. It's part of your timeline and mine."
“Then… what made you choose me?”
"Traveling in the TARDIS? Yes. I don't always pick up new Companions, though."
Richie glances behind himself one more time, and follows Romana. "Do you, uh, do this a lot?"
"Alright. Just follow me to the TARDIS." *She started walking.*
“Oh… uh, right! I… I knew that. Right. Okay. I’ll come!”
"A Companion is a person who travels with an experienced Time Lord."
“Oh, I… uh, I don’t know anything about caring for the elderly?”
"Of course. I'd be glad to have you come along. I won't go to Hatchetfield, though I don't understand."
“Can I come…? As long as you don’t go to Hatchetfield again.”
"Yes, I would be lying if I said I wasn't."
“… are YOU lonely?”
"You looked like you needed a friend, and I was just trying to earn your trust."
“Okay, touché. BUT — that leads me to my next point! I’m just a high schooler! Why are you even telling me this?”
