Hopefully this means they've added some ease-in/ease-out with the gameplay camera movements, instead of the stiff linear motions they used in Forces+Frontiers+ShadowGens And maybe give Sonic the drift action again idk

Sonic Team confirms new Sonic the Hedgehog game in development with “unprecedented gameplay” https://mynintendonews.com/2026/09/22/sonic-team-confirms-new-sonic-the-hedgehog-game-in-development-with-unprecedented-gameplay/

Isn't that what the Easy Mode is for? Much easier progression and basically no lengthy grinding required? It's okay that this is an option, but it seems a tiny bit much IMO. People buy games to *play* them, I doubt they'd enjoy "instantly make me overpowered" and "speed-up the cutscenes" buttons

Final Fantasy 7 Revelation will let players automatically level up to focus on the main story and skip grinding https://nintendoeverything.com/final-fantasy-7-revelation-will-let-players-automatically-level-up-to-focus-on-the-main-story-and-skip-grinding/

I've been continuing Zelda A Link To The Past in lunchbreaks/evenings recently. Made it to the dark world's first dungeon, which is roughly where I gave up back in 2019 I won't lie, I've used the NSO's rewind thing to do quick-retries for combat, because honestly: this game's still tough

When you think about it, their use of gen-A-I for "better speedier development" ended up not saving any time at all They spent a few minutes typing their demands into an image generator chatbot but then several days apologising due to backlash about it 🙃

Level 5’s CEO has confirmed that generative AI was used for its recent Yo-Kai Watch and Professor Layton game reveals and apologized to disappointed fans. www.videogameschronicle.com/news/level-5...

I've been playing some more of Death Stranding recently, and.... I think it's clicked 👀 Sure it's 50% walking/driving for fetchquests, 25% tutorial popups and 25% story stuff with jargon I don't understand, but the gameplay loop's becoming quite peaceful and fun, with a good sense of progression

I am *never* getting a full bingo line on one of these LMAO That was a good Direct though. Metroid Ravenous looks very exciting, and I love the replayability features that Switch Sports Resort has

As usual with upcoming Nintendo Directs - here's my Bingo Predictions Card! 👀 #NintendoDirect Because of the Zelda one and general one being back-to-back this week, my Zelda predictions are just in one column there

Nintendo Direct predictions bingo: Mario Kart World DLC, Kingdom Hearts, New 3d mario, kid icarus, zelda orchestra, tomodachi life update, mario sports game, luigi's mansion, metroid, zelda twilight princess, mario maker, fire emblem, Kirby, zelda ocarina of time remake with major changes, final fantasy, switch sports resort, a Mario RPG, Pikmin, zelda movie trailer, DS game, Farm sim, Smash Bros, Wario, and Zelda being added to universal theme park

Zelda Ocarina of Time remake looks SWEEEEEEET ... ...But: I'm not sure about the characters' faces, something doesn't quite look right with their eyes in some shots They can look a bit like clay/doll figures but it's hard to describe

I had a bizarre dream last night and need to write this down lol In it, I was playing some new top-down cosy village game (like Animal Crossing), but things are "off", you find a monster photo, the illusion breaks, the game crashes, and everything swaps to gritty Resident Evil style survival horror

a diagram of 4 images - the first image is a cosy colourful animal crossing image, followed by an animal crossing dialogue screen where text reads "system error, conversation not found". The 3rd image is a technical difficulties crash, glitching on screen. The 4th image is a dark, scary corridor from a Resident Evil game. Text reads "objective: find a TV to jump back into the cosy world"
