When you think about it, their use of gen-A-I for "better speedier development" ended up not saving any time at all They spent a few minutes typing their demands into an image generator chatbot but then several days apologising due to backlash about it 🙃

I've been playing some more of Death Stranding recently, and.... I think it's clicked 👀 Sure it's 50% walking/driving for fetchquests, 25% tutorial popups and 25% story stuff with jargon I don't understand, but the gameplay loop's becoming quite peaceful and fun, with a good sense of progression
Damn this sucks I played a lot of Moss on PSVR2 last year, and it's fantastic. And it's cool that they recently remastered the game into a a non-VR version too Wishing all the best for the devs

5 *fantastic* 2D momentum platformers and an okay one VS A 2017 nothing-burger, a 2021 botched remaster and a 2022 shaky-but-ambitious triumph

Zelda Ocarina of Time remake looks SWEEEEEEET ... ...But: I'm not sure about the characters' faces, something doesn't quite look right with their eyes in some shots They can look a bit like clay/doll figures but it's hard to describe
I had a bizarre dream last night and need to write this down lol In it, I was playing some new top-down cosy village game (like Animal Crossing), but things are "off", you find a monster photo, the illusion breaks, the game crashes, and everything swaps to gritty Resident Evil style survival horror

Grounder and Scratch are still my favourites because they both had the funniest balance of "overconfident, but completely pathetic and hopeless" It also helps that Dr Robotnik was hilarious in that series too The other 3 duos = barely close. Orbot and Cubot were sorta alright I guess

I finished this yesterday, and it's uh.... Got an interesting story Very vague, takes a while to realise what the whole game's about, but... interesting The bullet-hell / dodge-n-slash gameplay is the main selling point though. Can't think of many games quite like this

There's a lot of tight dodging/parrying Story's a bit vague so far, but I'd say check this out!
I played a bit of Witcher 3 wayyyy back around March 2020, when I borrowed a friend's disk copy for an afternoon. Seemed like a pretty cool game, but since then I've just had it on my "Ehh, maybe one day" list So this remaster could be the version I finally jump in to! 👀

Getting the feeling it's going to get delayed to next year but regardless, I WANT TO SEE MORE OF IT!
I *think* this is what unfortunately happened with my copy of Super Smash Bros 3DS 😔 About a year or two ago, I tried playing it, and it would: • Not load on the home menu • Crash after the title screen • Infinitely load into a battle I think it's the first physical game to ever break on me
SimplyAJ@simplyaj.com · 4w agoFriendly Reminder: 3DS, Vita and Switch all use a type of flash memory that needs an electrical charge every decade or so to keep the game data from corrupting. TLDR: Boot up all your games and make a save on them to help preserve them into the future!
