Trying to find some dynamic poses for cats, and even with AI filters turned on Duck Duck Go, there are some OBVIOUS AI images popping up. I want a REAL reference, not some computer BS! #rant

And this, my friends, is why I still love to draw. I still love to write stories. It brings me joy, and makes me human. 💜

Part of the reason I took on this challenge is that I am very hesitant. I spend a lot of time just staring at my art trying to decide what to do. My main goal is to at least start a new artwork every day with this prompt list. So far, I have reached a 5/5. I'll share my progress soon! 💜

FurAffinity (a furry focused online art gallery) is looking for funding after refusing to comply with advertiser demands. And oh boy are some of those advertiser demands are pretty ridiculous.

WEH YCH is now officially closed! Anyone that got in before I shut it down will still get a WEH. Now to decide on a challenge for October....
I realized I never posted the original artwork from my #sketchbook this piece is based on! Enjoy! I really love #fineliners. I want to do more, but "Fairy Woods" has raised the bar pretty high. Me? Intimidated by my own art? Nah!
💜Serina ceRES💜@serina-ceres.bsky.social · 2mo agoFinished the colored version of "Fairy Woods" from my #sketchbook! Felt good going back to my old way of doing art - drawing traditionally, then scanning in to color. While the design at this point wasn't final, this was my first imagining of how @alenabaille.bsky.social's OC would look.
What is with me finding all these scams?! I clicked a LinkedIn article under my company's profile and it signed up my art google account! MFers! Can I go vack to drawing yet? I just got over my migrain. ; ;
Heads up! If you have deleted your #Webtoon account in due to the upcoming AI additions, do not respond to the email where they talk about changing how you log in! It is a data farming scheme to collect your data. If you have already deleted your account, mark as spam.
I am not finding a direct answer via seraches, so can someone enlighten me when a person's profile says they are a "7D Artist?" I have found answers ranging form AI inspired art to a collective of disabled artists to exploring expanding dimensionality of painting. #artistadvice
THE WEH ARMY IS GROWING! I am still running this #YCH #Commission for a Discord/phone emote until September 23rd. Get in while you can! Just fill out my commission form: forms.gle/WLVbi4biQCHt...
Usually, Wednesday is an art day, but my yard needed trim work. By the time I was done my hands are so tired I can't even hold a cup without shaking. I'm only typing by resting my hands BADLY on the keyboard. To my remaining commissions - never fear! I will finish more WEHs tomorrow. /smoochies!

Still have 6 spots for this #YCH #commission offering! Just fill out my commission form on the OG post to get started. Here is a close up of the examples:
💜Serina ceRES💜@serina-ceres.bsky.social · last mo.Only $10 for an emote? WEH! Offering WEH .PNG emotes for use on phones, Discord, and other apps that support porting in custom images. Starting off with 10 spots. You can fill out a form here: docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1F...
Looking for #artistadvice! I've been trying out Trello for commission tracking, but found out that I have to upgrade to let people view the board! I am not commissioned enough yet to warrant having a paid Trello. Does anyone have any #trelloalternative suggestions that aren't AI-powered?
While I am very excited to work on building my art pressence, I have made the big mistake that every starting off artists is warned about: I worked myself too hard. So I am instituting Tues and Fri as 'off' days to allow myself more rest and recovery. I may still draw, but no socials or comm. work.
Reminder: I do not consent to -ANY- AI training off of my artwork. Any pro-AI accounts or accounts that use generative AI that follow me will be swiftly blocked. Thank you, @faeroyal56.bsky.social, for letting me know an AI-cuck came into my space.
Finished #commission! I haven't gotten to do a #halftone in a good while, much less one with a spot color. This really stretched my thinking, and made me realize that perspective is still a weakness of mine. Excited to practice and get even better at drawing! #digitalart #csp #stylized
The response has been so fast for this adorable #YCH! Now at 6 spots left. If anything seems unclear, please feel free to ask me! In my mind, there is no such thing as a stupid question - just stupid answers. 😜

😱HANDLE UPDATE!!😱 I identify far more with Serina than with Reba as my artist identity, so my handle has changed from reba-ceres to serina-ceres. Still me, making art and snarky comments. I'm still in the process of getting all my socials to line up with this, so please be patient. 💜
Another fun time taking a #sketch from my #sketchbook, scanning it in, and #digitalcolor -ing it. It really is helping me understand lighting and light color better! Also, open to recommendations to do better alt-text to help poor vision visitors. #mixedmedia #fineliner #CSP #stylized

Back in 2014 and 2015, I drew this set of pictures. Kingdom Hearts was one of those media that gave me the push to be creative in new ways, and it was Hayden Panettiere's performance that made me fall in love with the characters of Xion and Kairi. May she find only peace beyond this life.
