While I am very excited to work on building my art pressence, I have made the big mistake that every starting off artists is warned about: I worked myself too hard. So I am instituting Tues and Fri as 'off' days to allow myself more rest and recovery. I may still draw, but no socials or comm. work.

Finished #commission! I haven't gotten to do a #halftone in a good while, much less one with a spot color. This really stretched my thinking, and made me realize that perspective is still a weakness of mine. Excited to practice and get even better at drawing! #digitalart #csp #stylized

😱HANDLE UPDATE!!😱 I identify far more with Serina than with Reba as my artist identity, so my handle has changed from reba-ceres to serina-ceres. Still me, making art and snarky comments. I'm still in the process of getting all my socials to line up with this, so please be patient. 💜

Back in 2014 and 2015, I drew this set of pictures. Kingdom Hearts was one of those media that gave me the push to be creative in new ways, and it was Hayden Panettiere's performance that made me fall in love with the characters of Xion and Kairi. May she find only peace beyond this life.
Finished the colored version of "Fairy Woods" from my #sketchbook! Felt good going back to my old way of doing art - drawing traditionally, then scanning in to color. While the design at this point wasn't final, this was my first imagining of how @alenabaille.bsky.social's OC would look.
The last two days of my day job have been hard. My hands are now too tired to even tab, much less anything else. And of course, in the quiet forced upon me, I have had two REALLY good story/comic ideas. Sadly, this is the last of my typing today after I stopped counting at sending 50 emails...
Why can't we just... have noce things? One of the career paths I originally considered (before being convinced by everyone around me that I was too stupid to do it and listening to them like an idiot) was being a translator for comics. Fuck AI.

Tried this with the two near complete stories I have in Docs. No results. I think this user shared with others, which Google has said all shared documents are scanned 'for security.' I feel icky having messed with the AI even a little. Wonder how many are now testing to see if their docs are safe?

It’s now possible for users to get Google Docs’ AI to share information that is otherwise not publicly accessible, if it was written in Google Docs at some point. You CANNOT trust it w/ confidential info

In the great before times, I didn't have the hand-eye coordination to draw using a drawing pad, so I would draw traditionally, then color digitally. This is how far I got using a piece I did in my current sketchbook for today's session.
I've been trying to restore my quick access macros in FFXIV and feel like I've just wasted an hour of my time. Going to play Warframe for a while and murder some Greneer to make me feel better.

Finished some #charactersheets for a repeat client (my super supportive spouse, @alenabaille.bsky.social)! It was a goods exchange - character sheets for perpetual license for CSP 5.0. Learned a lot, and very fun to experiment with!

I don't get it. If "someone" follows over 5,000 accounts what is to say that "someone" isn't an AI bot? Combined with nothing personal, commentative, or just tongue and cheek and it being all business? Yeah, I would rather block than have my creativity slurped up by a clanker.
A little something for #throwbackthrusday - also known as an old drawing I did for a competition. What do you guys think? Is this 2018 drawing worth a redraw? Also, marked her for nudity since nothing is showing, but it's clear there are no clothes on.
