This leaves a bad taste in my mouth as well... I also should note almost all of these recent posts are in a Discord thread and the initial post today is in a hidden news channel that doesn't show until you activate it manually.

Chedd I am happy to keep answering questions. I want all of you to feel like, at very least, you understand where we are coming from, even if you don't agree with it. I just need you all to understand, if you care about this game or or this studio, we are in a very bad and scary place now. We have been burning into our savings ever since we spun out of Netflix. There is so much more work to be done, and no more money to pay for it. And now, on top of everything else, we have to contend with a huge mob online that hates our guts. They don't know all the sacrifices we've made. They don't know that this is a studio with an incredibly high percentage of trans and nonbinary employees (also, women in general.) They don't know that every employee is a co-owner of the studio. They don't know that every employee took a huge voluntary paycut to try to make this work. They don't know about all the nights and weekends that we've worked to try to ship this game, to try to make the world a little more empathetic and a little less lonely. All they know is that we use Claude, and they hate us for it.
