UPDATE: @GovBillLee is joining 18 other governors in sending Tennessee National Guard troops to help Trump’s authoritarian show of force in American cities, using soldiers for pure politics. We have heard from multiple soldiers who say this isn’t what they signed up for.

Library of Congress blames "coding error" for missing sections of online Constitution

The missing sections included foundational clauses, such as the right to habeas corpus.

The Library of Congress got caught quietly altering its online display of the Constitution, removing Sections 9 and 10 of Article I. Trump's least favorite sections which guarantees the right to challenge unlawful detention and requires the government to justify confinement.

Trump shredding the constitution in the middle of fifth avenue, MAGA silently watches on the sidelines.

This = what #KKKings look like & the tactics they take. I've been impressed by Jasmine Crockett❣️ for a long time. We must come together as all states against this. 💙⚖️ Thx @thebwstimes.bsky.social @thetnholler.bsky.social @jasmineforus.bsky.social Thx @soldiergirl.bsky.social for sending it to me.

From @thebwstimes.bsky.social — “Texas Republicans have redrawn the lines so that @jasmineforus.bsky.social Crockett, one of the most outspoken Black women in Congress, is no longer living in her own district… this is not just political, it’s personal.”

Military voters face mounting barriers. In testimony at Sen. Padilla’s hearing, Vet Voice Foundation CEO @janessagoldbeck.bsky.social put it clearly: “If a service member votes on time, their vote should count. Period.”

#StudentLoans forgiven 4 #ICE but not others n public service as under previous admin. "Federal officials are planning a social media blitz to reach recruits, potentially advertising on YouTube and SnapChat, but also on connected TVs via Hulu and Amazon Prime." www.usatoday.com/story/news/n...

ICE is recruiting agents with incentives, massive ad campaigns. Sheriffs aren't happy.

ICE just made it more attractive to become an immigration agent, with a $50k signing bonus. But are they hurting local law enforcement in the process?

Over 800 students from across the country completed our National Advocacy Institute in DC over the past 3 weeks. There's more interest now than ever before in the Institute, where students learn about key civil rights issues, build leadership skills, and connect with other incredible advocates.

I guess the fed student loan aid for ICE recruits will help pay 4 the gaiter masks they use 2 hide their identities while abducting people. #OneBigBeautifulBill =paying 4 this. #RageAgainstTheRegime 👋 @zombveetessa.bsky.social @barblahs.bsky.social @wvrobi.bsky.social @vanillarage.bsky.social

Guess Who’s Eligible for Student Loan Forgiveness: New ICE Agents

Thanks to the Supreme Court and the Trump administration, student loan forgiveness is out of reach for many — unless you work for ICE.

Had 2 bring this 🐈‍⬛ n early b/c runt of feral litter & wasn't getting food, plus terrible eye infection n winter, so he truly thinks I'm his mama. Named him Claude/Claudio but loved that Claude/Clawed were homonyms. I have 2 move quietly when he's sleeping so I can get work done. #Cats #Caturday
