If it’s characters/subjects I’ve drawn couple of times, the sketch phase is very short. If it’s someone new or a pose I never done before, I take a longer time with the sketch before proceeding.

How much information do you guys give yourself in your sketch phase before you go into lineart? Genuinely curious. My sketches get pretty rough because I rather do edits and refinement work during the lineart phase over the sketch phase.

If you see someone's art getting dragged on SM, the worst thing you can do is drag their work on to another social media, even if you're coming from a place of kindness and support. All it does is create a new wave of hate at someone by the time the previous wave was probably dying down.
