Got Binding of Isaac on a crazy sale recently and just beat the infamous Ultra Hard challenge last night. Holy hell, Edmund is a cruel bastard lol. It took me 2 days and god knows how many retries because my luck was so crap. And the run where I finally won took over 6 hours 💀

I started working on this comic a long time ago and then got distracted by a bunch of other stuff. And I've been getting people asking here and there about Eva and David and the comic specifically. So I'm making a public promise to focus on finally getting this done lol.

Sketch of a new character I'm working on. She's a vampire who became an online celebrity that leans hard into the vampire thing so she can "hide in plain sight" by pretending she's just a cosplayer playing a character...and also so she can get easy access to blood from her fans.

Updated Roll's design with some new ideas I had. In addition to the stuff noted in the art, I also tried a few other things, like changing how I do her wing accent colors and making her colors "richer" in general. Let me know what you all think about the changes.

Haven't had time for art the past few weeks because I've been focusing on getting a new portfolio together for job hunting. But that's all done now, so I'm planning on having a finished version of my most recent Roll art posted next Saturday.

I got some inspiration to try a few new things to freshen up Roll's design a bit, like how I did with Uyo recently. It's still very much a work in progress, but what do y'all think so far?

The mood finally struck me to play through the Breath of Fire series, which I've wanted to do for a long time. I'm about halfway through BoF2 and having a good time, despite the many...rough edges lol. It's also rekindling the embers of my old ideas to make a monster girl RPG.

Took a break from art to deal with the recent unemployment situation, so I did some doodles to shake off the rust. I had some funny ideas relating to Eva and her "spoiled pet cat" like qualities, so I decided to go with that as a theme.

Whenever people theorize about a future Poker Night at the Inventory game, I get why everyone picks Abrams as the Deadlock rep. But hear me out. If we're putting someone in a seedy underground gambling den to have funny interactions and tell wild stories...consider Vyper. 🤔🐍

A long time ago, I stopped caring about ranks and stuff in competitive online games because, as a solo player, it always felt like my rank was less about my personal skill and more about the whims of the matchmaking system. But I discovered something in Deadlock recently...

I guess there's something about the Zelda art that just makes it not very popular with the algorithm or my followers. Though a lot of artists struggle with their fan art completely overshadowing their OC art in popularity, so I guess I'm happy to have the inverse problem lol.

Visiting family for the holidays so no art today. But I did have just enough time to do the Deadlock holiday event before leaving, so I can brag about that at least lol. Fortunately I already like to learn and play all the characters in games like this, so it was a fun challenge.
