Anybody want one of these? Usually my digital paintings are $100, but with the Warrior Cats game coming out soon I'm willing to make one for the price of one Feral Edition pre-order ($40 usd)! DM me if you want to claim it and I'll send you a discount code to get it on Ko-fi. #furry #warriorcats

For ppl who say "voting doesn't matter" (in the US), the government is actively taking away voting power from black people right now because they're afraid of losing the midterms.

For people who don't know what being fictionkin is like, I Saw The TV Glow is exactly what it is. The movie was validating but also very hard to watch by being a reminder of that.

The thing about consuming a lot of wolf media is knowing that there are only so many soundbites for howling, and once you've heard them all you can't stop recognizing them. It's like the wilhelm scream

There's gotta be more POC than me that's uncomfortable with rice dishes being called "slop bowls" or "human kibble". I deadass just saw someone call ramen a type of slop bowl. Same for poke and other "meat and vegetables over rice" dishes

Just check the AnOtherWiki page for therians and PLEASE why is it like that oml ☠️ Not much info on therianthropy but it takes a detour to bring up? African folklore? Which is unrelated btw, whils also saying Africa is low-tech without much access to the internet

Human characters feel a very specific type of strange to me not because they exist but because everybody looks like somebody. You can't just Invent A Guy. Even the "this person does not exist" site does, in fact, have people that exist. Most human characters theoretically have a real-life clone

One thing I hate about forums becoming less popular is the public's overreliance on constant availability and instant response. On a forum, if someone spam-bumped their own thread asking for replies they'd get asked to calm the hell down Once upon a time, waiting was normal

Branching off for additional thoughts, but I think it's because holothere is super broad. It's meant to be a short synonym for physical nonhuman, but in that vein our system doesn't find it specific enough since it includes so many things that are different

I'm on the fence, because there IS a linguistic gap for physical nonhumans that therian doesn't cover. But I'm unsure if holothere (and by proxy holothere therianthropy) is it. Rn my headmates use extranth instead, which is convenient since it's a plural term, but doesn't solve much for non-plurals

Been designing acrylic charms for myself and system members, and can anyone give advice on getting individual charms? I don't need a bunch of duplicates, I just need one of each lmao

While we're here, does anyone know where therianism (the word) sprouted from. Because ppl (usually furries) keep calling therianthropy "therianism" and I can't figure out a reason why besides just not knowing the terminology well Same for ppl not knowing therian is abbreviated (from therianthrope)

with where most are at currently, looking for saviours and appealing to authority to address issues, having an org that can educate at large, give aid where able & give tools on building local action is going to be key maybe it's time some folks got together to do that...

Mascot horror is interesting for what it is, but everyone trying to do the "chapter format" isn't working. At this point I don't want Indigo Park: Chapter 2, I want Indigo Park: The Rest of The Damn Game. Just keep it until it's finished yall
