Sue Judd will be hosting a talk at #DinoConUK 2026 about the creation of Everything Dinosaur's first in-house model. Sue is a partner at Everything Dinosaur, a business providing dinosaur models and educational resources. Sue leads on sustainability and responsible manufacturing.
Chelsey Knyff will be hosting a talk at #DinoConUK 2026 celebrating the women who have contributed to palaeontology, not just Mary Anning! Chelsey is the paleocurator for Dinosaur State Park in Connecticut. Her talks have landed her in the Kelly Clarkson Show and other TV shows.
Vicky Coules will be hosting a talk at #DinoConUK 2026 about the first animated dinosaurs. Vicky is a writer and artist researching the representation of dinosaurs in visual culture, based in the Departments of History of Art and Palaeontology at the University of Bristol.
David Unwin is giving a technical talk at #DinoConUK 2026 about using UV light photography to uncover data on pterosaur biology. David has studied pterosaurs for nearly 50 years and remains baffled by them. He works at the University of Leicester as a reader in Palaeobiology.
Dave Hone & Iszi Lawrence will be hosting their podcast Terrible Lizards at #DinoConUK 2026! Dave is a specialist in dinosaur ecology & behaviour and has published more than 100 scientific papers. Iszi is a broadcaster, comedian and children's historical fiction author.
Matt Dempsey will be speaking at #DinoConUK 2026 about how dinosaurs are reconstructed. Palaeoartist, musculoskeletal biologist, and vertebrate palaeontologist, Matt's research focuses how our knowledge of living animals can be used to understand the biology of extinct ones.
Tom Fletcher will be hosting a talk at #DinoConUK 2026 about his experiences in moving from academia to film making. Tom's research focussed on fossil shark hydrodynamics. Tom now works at Silverback Films, a natural history filmmaking company in Bristol.
Emma Nicholls will be hosting a talk at #DinoConUK 2026 about the first scientifically named dinosaur; Megalosaurus. Palaeontologist and award winning museum curator, Emma is currently collections manager of fossil vertebrates at Oxford University Museum of Natural History.
Dean Lomax will be hosting a talk on his book, The Secret Lives of Dinosaurs, at #DinoConUK 2026. Dean is an acclaimed palaeontologist, author, a leading authority on ichthyosaurs, and TV presenter affiliated with the University of Manchester and the University of Bristol.
Paul Barrett will be hosting a technical talk at #DinoConUK 2026 about Zimbabwe’s dinosaur heritage and new fieldwork that has yielded surprising results. Paul is Head of Fossil Vertebrates & Palaeoanthropology at the Natural History Museum, London. He has published nearly 250 scientific papers.
Could Jurassic Park happen? Maria McNamara will be hosting a talk at #DinoConUK 2026 about if de-extinction of ancient animals is possible. Professor of Palaeontology at University College Cork, Maria's research focuses on soft tissue, colouration, and feather preservation.
Exciting news! Screenwriter, producer and director, Tim Haines, will be hosting a talk about the upcoming miniseries Surviving Earth at #DinoConUK 2026! Tim is best known as the creator for the incredibly popular BAFTA and Emmy award-winning series Walking with Dinosaurs.
