STORY.

Hope was originally a discarded Vessel, but her creator had not completed her fully. Her body was made, but her mind was none.

That was, until, she was given... What looked like a FAMILY.

With every interaction, she'd see them smile more, more, and more. She made friends, created unbreakable bonds, and eventually gained her very own SOUL.
A brilliant pink with a warm glow, this SOUL was now visible to those around her.

It gave off a shining warmth, a comforting glow that resonated beyond moments of interaction. It seemed even the most mischievous beings in the Depths were being affected.

With curiosity burning in his very core, Gaster studied her.

He found nothing short of everything.

His Hope.

A short "comic" featuring my OC Hope, Gaster, Eram, FRIEND, and a dear friend's OC, Cree. (green horned fella, also a Vessel).

This comic shows Hope's progression through the Depths, how she interacts with others, how she grows into the hopeful SOUL, and how the SOULs power works. The warmth cuts deeper than a blade, and leaves behind a part of itself no matter where it goes.

The beginning shows Gaster finding the little Vessel.

The Vessel interacts with others, curious, and beginning to smile. She gains her own expressions, her own laughter, her own being was forming!

Gaster holds her up, confused.

Hope's SOUL begins to shine.

A darkness has been dispelled.

The text, in order, reads:

"WHEN WE FIRST MET... IT WAS A COMPLETE IMPOSSIBILITY.

YOU WERE NEVER MEANT TO BE HERE. I ALLOWED YOU TO STAY.

IT WAS INTRIGUING. WATCHING YOU AND THE OTHERS. BLEND SO SEAMLESSLY.

Three separate drawings, all involving one core component, HOPE.

To the left is a drawing of Flowey and my OC, the two are seen between two pillars, one with vines wrapping around it. The two are in a dynamic stance, my character holding a stick while a thorned vine comes out from behind Flowey.

To the right is a drawing of my OC and Spamton, my character's scarf is whipping out, being used as her weapon. Spamton uses an otherwise dead landline as his weapon, a charge at the end of the wire he's holding. They look determined together as a glitchy city is shown behind them.

Finally, the top is a drawing of Eram in his regular batty form, my Vessel Hope, and in the middle of all the drawings, connecting them, is a large, glowing pink heart. The color was chosen out of personal preference, but that's my interperetation of the Hope SOUL.
