Realizing the way I play platform fighters has a fatal flaw, in that if my opponent plays patiently and can outspace me, I kinda just lose. This is probably the natural consequence of only ever playing against a Fox main 99% of the time.

I'm at a point where if a new game that seems bad comes out part of me gets kind of happy because that means I'm enduring less of the bitterness of everyone else being able to afford nice things while I can't. I feel like this is a bad mindset but I don't particularly care.

One neat thing about Sinister Minds is how it's entirely up to interpretation whether Don't Come Back is supposed to represent a final tribute to who she once was, or a retreat into the false comfort of calamity's ways to keep the cycles continuing.

I really don't think Link needed to have 3 projectiles, especially when the bow and boomerang feel so interchangeable. I also really really don't think we needed 3 different Links. I also also really really really don't think the 2 extra Links also needed to have 3 projectiles.

It increasingly seems like Nintendo is leaning towards making games that are basically theme park rides which you play through once and then don't pick up again for several years, and that's not like objectively wrong or bad or anything, but I'm not really a fan of it.
