I really wish the #winget team would resolve their issue with our @imagemagick.org #arm64 binaries. We are releasing to fast for them to keep up with the manual validation. I just published a new release and the PR in the winget-pkgs will bump it from a version that was released 2 months ago. 😢

Turns out it was some kind of compiler optimization in @visualstudio.com 2026 that caused this to break. But with the help of @github.com #copilot I was able to write a patch that would work around this and also improve the implementation and performance of the method that caused this.

With the @imagemagick.org project we use an icon of a wand as our favicon. For our logo we have an eps file but we don't have one of the wand. I have tried some online vectorization tools but they all failed. Do I know anyone who can make vector image of this file: imagemagick.org/image/wand.png

Very proud of myself that for the first time in months (maybe even a year?) I have no pending notifications on @github.com. This will probably change in the next 24 hours but very nice that I could finally work on some of the issues that have been on my unread notifications for ages.

And today was another day where I spend way too much time on invalid security advisories that were reported to @imagemagick.org. I never felt the need to block people from our @github.com repository but I am getting very closing to doing that.

Anyone else using @github.com #copilot for naming? I often ask it for suggestions of names of new things that I want to add. I am now adding a new option for the icon decoder to @imagemagick.org and it helped me pick a better name that what I thought of myself.

Would this be fraudulent 😉? You would need to join interviews during the hiring process as a proxy candidate. This means attending interviews under another person's name, not your own, based on an assigned profile. Why do people even bother sending these kind of messages?
