Kind of satisfying to bring an Early parser from 1.500+ sec (duuh 🙄) down to 0.5 sec. And yes, AI did help. Because sometimes a blind and a one-eyed one find a way too. In short: splitting the input -> concurrency -> state lookup -> eliminating protocol existentials -> batching did the trick
The shittiest UX on any Apple platform is the Books app. iCloud sync randomly deletes my books at the most inconvenient moments. In iCloud folders I can mark a document to keep on device, but no, not with Books. That’s how you know that no one at uses the app and reads on their devices.

This is infuriating and a breach of trust. The enshitification of Backblaze. I checked and really, the .git folders are not there. Only the latest version. All the little local repos I have on my machine would loose its history, if I ever had to rely on this backup. Time to look for an alternative.
