The results are shocking. Moral corruption. Absolute, undeniable moral corruption. And you wonder why people don't trust the police?
I am extremely angry about this! The really disheartening part is that people may talk in support of Haitian immigrants but not really care because they are Black immigrants. FUCK all of you "temporary means temporary" MFs that don't know the history of Haiti & the US role in it. Crack a book! 1/

I don't know the OP but on this timeline, we're connected by the nagging misery our lives have been forced into. The "new normal". I'm not assuming any election, any swapping of bodies is going to magically make things alright. There's no going back. What does forward even look like? Who decides?

Phone too. A phone that'll last more than 2 years. Pay bills on time. Pay more than the minimum on a credit card. I hate this timeline. Vitamins won't fix this level of tired.
I recall this moment & what I thought as they engaged in their outrageously performative bs, MTG looking like a silly howler monkey. I said it aloud... "There goes Medicare & Medicaid. These MFs do not care about anything that doesn't go into their pockets & no one is going to stop these demons".

"Violence is never the answer" is far too often asserted by those that are perpetrating multiple forms of violence against people they deem "Others". As James Baldwin said, We can't believe what you say because we see what you do. Under siege, violence may be the only answer.

On 11th August here, in 🇹🇼Taiwan, we will be having 30mins war preparation. So during that, everything will stop - public transport stopped, no vehicles on the road, no internet. Why this world has to be full of assholes that initiate wars is a mystery I will take to my grave.
There were always so many things to do, people to do them with, it was hard to be bored. Boredom was a reason for parents to assign extra chores. Indoors or out, we knew how to use our precious free time. To this day, I do not entertain boredom.

The kind of rainy day in the 70s or 80s with only black & white films on TV, nothing to do on a hot Saturday, or empty time after a school day boredom. There was self discovery, reading, experimentation, play - and joy - in that boredom.

In a car jacking they tell you just comply. When the crime is domestic abuse or SA suddenly it all “why did you comply? Why didn’t you fight?”
