Seriously to all artists THIS. Don't do what I did and only pick one or two sites to post to, because things be imploding every week it feels like
Kippie ♠ Do not be obedient in advance@kippie.bsky.social · 2y agoI don't want a lot of artists to put all their eggs in only one basket because whew, we are not having a good time these days because nothing is stable.
I'm glad to see the walkback so artists aren't completely cut off from their following! However, the site IS still rapidly losing a follower base and has been since before the announcement. I'd still caution a lot of artists to crosspost as much as possible to help build up followings elsewhere!
I mean, we've already got kids "rizzing" up AI character bots, so this was just the next step in blurring the lines more
Matt Round@mattround.com · last yr.OpenAI’s strategy is very clear, it’s trying to get people - especially young people - so reliant on its products intellectually & emotionally (& now sexually!) that going without them becomes unthinkable. And they need signs of that strategy working to keep the funding flowing in
callie’s upset. why. someone said they didn’t like her drip that’s why stay fresh !! #splatoonart #art
