You complain that some promotions "thanked you" by giving you free tickets, but in nosebleed sections? THERE SHOULD BE NO EXPECTATION OF "THANKS" FROM THE PEOPLE AND THINGS YOU COVER. You owe them nothing, they owe you nothing. You owe your audience.
Comps/gifts/priority treatment are things media should reject whenever possible. Sometimes it isn't possible, and you manage those cases as honestly as you can. To instead treat these perks as an expectation, part of a trade between you and what you cover, is beyond embarrassing.

AEW PPV: peak athleticism, innovative moves, wall to wall action. WWE PLE: old man misses a moonsault and shits himself followed by 10 minutes of ads.

My guess is that this is going to help these promotions. I know that I myself am more likely to purchase PPV shows from Eve, Revpro and Athena's promotion now that it's infinitely less complicated and housed under one AEW app.
