so it appears that my faceplanting into the mdzs archives on ao3 has really kicked me back into writing fic, so hooray! my pile of wips increases! (wait a minute...) but also: please! brain!! i need you to let me write things that aren't spinoffs of other people's work!! i'm begging u!!
guess who has two thumbs and spent the past three-ish days writing extremely specific mdzs fic in a frenzied state due to brainworms from a particular jiang cheng emotional whump fic from 2021. if you guessed me, correct. it was write fic or scream out my window and get the cops called on me 😭
stole @fushimington.bsky.social's son Crow for a side excursion into oc ship brainrot. can't believe my monitor started dying while i was drawing this. during pride month?? in front of my salad???
wrote 7200 words of oc ship brainrot and half the oc ship in question hasn't even shown up yet. at the rate it's going, it's going to be another 7k at least before that happens... (sned hep)

did i spend the last half hour scouring youtube for one specific tgcf fan song that's been living in my head rent-free yes, it was worth one (1) death in maplestory because i forgot that vanishing river grinding maps don't really have safe spots because of the lantern erdas, but that's irrelevant
i regret to inform you that i have fallen off the wagon and relapsed into maplestory
i am being really annoying about this to literally everyone i know but i took a ring-making class with a friend and made rings and it's really nice having rings that are comfy on my fingers :) (also i tried my hand at soldering hehe)

today i discovered that there was a whole second season of The Faraway Paladin that i hadn't watched yet so i sat down and more or less binged it (it's at least halfway decent as a fantasy series, with minimal isekai light novel stank--mc's fairly solidly a good egg, too)
finally got around to chopping my hair off! feels nice to have it short again

it really is A Feeling when you look into your bookmarks list on ao3 and discover that some of the things you bookmarked have been quietly deleted while you weren't looking. i mean, writer's prerogative and all, so it can't be helped, but it's still a loss.
i stole fushi's oc son for a destiny au where i turned him into a lore inaccurate hive god and then spent two days and change losing my mind painting everything (aaaa) (pls don't send the lore cops after me bc idc/they'll never take me alive) (hive-ified Crow belongs to @fushimington.bsky.social)
ender magnolia patched yesterday it seems like and i can't believe i'm saying it but i beat the arena tower quartet pre-nerf. maybe i'm not as bad at video games as i'm generally under the impression i am....
