Done some. Their legs bend backwards, they have antlers, they're tall. All of this is fine. It's the fact that they don't get that our universe isn't their science lab is the creepy part.
It's not human. Its smile is a little too wide. Its eyes blink sideways. Its legs, though they look human, are merely decorative and they just sort of collapse when it lands anywhere. Its voice isn't audible but you hear a scratching at the back of your mind when it opens its mouth.
