There were two ducklings in the pond yesterday. They were not hatchlings but definitely couldn't even try to fly. How are they still hatching this late? Also one may have been uh, consumed by a fish while I watched so that was fun.
It's currently difficult to see outside right now. Man this is the second time wildfires in Canada have affected air quality to this degree here in the past couple years. It never happened before. I wonder if anything changed. Like maybe on a climate level.
