But it's hard: 1) Isn't the fact of the VIP lanes in itself evidence of corruption? 2) Didn't they give contracts to friends, family and local publicans?

The BBC, intimidated and infiltrated under the Tories, lost its guts and its mojo. The political assault combined editorial attack with a critique of the licence fee as poor value (which it isn't) and as 'regressive' - a low move from politicians who gave precisely no f*cks for the hard up.

BBC 10 O'clock news report not only didn't mention Comcast at all, but framed Sky-ITV merger as a way to help them "compete with American streamers". Complete failure of journalism.

Reform arguing it is not for the Parliamentary Standards Commissioner to judge whether Farage has done anything wrong. But that is exactly who it is for.

If the people want to stick two fingers up to the establishment, they can do that by insisting on more transparency, not less.
