Just chatting with some #ttrpg friends and fellow #dungeonsanddragons kith, and I realized that maybe one of the whole points of being a #dungeonmaster is just removing the friction of the rules from the players. It's not how crunchy the rules are, but how smooth you make them for the table.

I did something last night in my #dungeonsanddragons game that I have been wanting to do a while. I introduced the party to a dog (a Manchester Terrier to be precise.) The party fell in love with it. It tagged along. And gave them heart attacks as it keep rushing to fight the Yuan-Ti. #ttrpg

Last 4 TTRPG I played: D&D 2024 Star Wars End of Empire D&D 2014 Savage Worlds Deadlands And yes, I consider 2024/2014 rulesets separate TTRPGs because that potion as a Bonus Action COMPLETELY changes how encounters are run. 😂
