Why would opposition party not help with terms for Bill C-39? B/c - they don’t want to help the workers, they are only for things that benefit the employers, the corporations They have tried to promote similar legislation in the past - those serving corporations moreso over the workers themselves

So if Bill C-39 is not drafted well, you know the opposition party we have will not proposed any good alternatives, as they then might actually have to vote in favour of the Bill & for this Bill, they likely would not help make changes b/c their leadership would rather bitch about it than help it

Unions have seen back to work legislation when neither side will bend - that is not ‘fair’ always either, but arbitration is supposed to be neutral party considering the rights of workers & employers to come up with an agreement when negotiation between parties reach an impasse - that’s not good

There is a thing called ‘trust’ that is not as abundant as it has been b/c of disrespect mostly & reluctance to give/take/& provide workable & fair alternatives Indigenous Group consultation processes have gone through much progressively good changes through respectful working relationships

Yes, Eby’s stance on DRIPA, & the fed liberal’s Bill C-39, are not popular Re C-39, I am not sure if Unions were consulted in the drafting of that legislation & if not, they should connect with their MPs & Minister of Labour to bring forth what they can see would work better & stronger guard rails

Indigenous Groups have been hiring consultants to help them in their reviews&training their own This is good for Indigenous Groups to have their own people trained to conduct review processes in their best interests The approval process can be shortened if the will is there to do so&not harmfully

So yes both ‘more pipelines’ & ‘less consultation time’ are not great… Can consultation be shortened, most likely, as long as there is an awareness of cultural activity windows for ‘hunting, fishing, etc - & the need by both parties to work to improve that delay… not everyone is out hunting etc …

Never have I stated not to vote for a party b/c their members are so messed up I say that openly now about what the conservs have allowed to infiltrate into their party… So much so, I would rather see a PM & Prs who promises more pipelines & try to ‘corral’ consultations to decrease approval time

Gov’ts make decisions we may not like - it happened under every PM & we survived their horrible decisions… even though we hated them There was never thoughts of separating b/c we didn’t like that decision, they’d just get voted out on their asses the next election, oh well … Bring on next gov’t …

They will come after what Canada has… The foreign interference mechanisms… are stronger than before…dividing through false narratives …& it seems to be taken a stronger hold as people are openly stating how horrible the decisions our PM is making, which may not be great, but gov’ts make decisions…
