The 2026 Web Series World Cup ranking data has hit critical mass so we can confidently publish! Here are to top 80 shows based on full or partial data from @cuscowebfest, @bnmwebfest, @carballointerplay, @dieSeriale, @cinemajove, @MarsWebFest, and @goetheinstitut_indonesien.

We have a brand-new stop on the 2026 Web Series World Cup circuit … Seriale Indonesia, the sibling festival of die Seriale, in Bandung, Indonesia! They’re open for submissions until May 31. Submit your series now at FilmFreeway! The festival will be held on July 23–26, 2026.

Asia and Africa, while quite populous, had only 23 shows combined in the cup. While showcasing 13 shows here over represents them compared to other continents, we hope to encourage more creators from these regions to use these WSWC festivals to get attention for their shows. 1/4

Oceania shows are over 10% of the 2025 WSWC. In this top 15, Sally McClean's Walking Shadows Vol. 3 is 7th overall, and the top Oceania and Australian show. A Series of Unfortunate Dates, top NZ show Camp Be Better, and Buried also made the overall top 20. Pretty impressive. 1/2

169 South America shows appeared in 2025 WSWC festivals, and here are the top 20. Queen Lear, number 3 overall, is the top South American and Brazilian show. Brazil had 137 shows in the cup, by far the most, so this is impressive. Congrats to the creators, cast, and crew! 1/2
