Around 20% of hospital beds in the US are in Christianist facilities, most Catholic, that have happily been denying reproductive health care and gender-affirming care for decades AND enjoying a nonprofit status. Most people don't realize the stranglehold the church has until it's too late.

None of what's happening right now is the fault of people who refused to vote for Kamala Harris. That campaign had multiple opportunities to vow an end to the genocide in Gaza. The party refused ready & willing Palestinian lawmaker from speaking at the DNC. They promised atrocity. This isn't on you.

I donโ€™t think people quite understand that the occupation by ICE in the Twin Cities has more or less erased non-white people from public life. They cannot safely exist in any space accessible to the public and moving between private places leaves folks vulnerable to kidnapping by armed masked goons.
