Taking some time today to remember Brent Mydland on the day he passed in 1990. Amazing keyboardist and singer that breathed new life and sound into the Grateful Dead in 1979. Filled with immense talent, and just asserting his songs and then he was gone. Blessings Brent!! youtu.be/EZjDxo-AISo?...

Thirty-six years ago Brent Mydland played his last show with the Grateful Dead in Tinley Park, IL. A sad coincidence that it was on the anniversary of his predecessor, Keith’s, death. No one imagined that 3 days later Brent would be gone. Always “the new guy”. archive.org/details/gd19...
