Moved to the bay 3 months ago. I am missing New York, not gonna lie. But not the weather. The weather was horrible… except those 1 or 2 days where it wasn’t.
Last weekend I rebuilt an algorithm we use at work… a lot… and doubled the zero shot F1 score. Rebuilt the core logic today and eked out more… All because the engineering team are adamant it’s solved. I like to think I’ve proven my local maximum theory. Dull, yes, but pleased with myself.
