I just realized the reason I'm not bothered about the OoT remake is because FF7 stuff sent me through the 5 stages of grief already and I stopped expecting corporations to be the archivists of my formative experiences.

My thoughts on Dawntrail now that I'm finally all caught up... Abandoning Tural halfway through was a big mistake and I'm digging the new storyline now that I've swallowed it, but it's hard to see the swerve to "Shadowbringers 2" as anything else than a lack of confidence.

Knowing how beloved this franchise is and how grateful an artist could be if they were sélecteur and in charge of the cover art, for it to have been made with AI of all things in the end ... This is crazy, c'est catastrophique.

Not to sound like an out of touch parent in the 90's, but it's weird that like 90% of video games and nerd media are built around the concept of people hitting each other with deadly force over and over again, and being able to tank such hits to ridiculous degrees
