We're open again, just in time for the start of term! Here's a quick guide for new (and returning) students on what we do and how you can use our collections. Find out more at the university websites (link in our bio), by emailing us, or by coming to see us on level 0 of the Exchange.

A post with a blue background and illustrations of an open book and a box of slides in white bubbles. The post reads "Welcome back! The Archives and Special Collections are now back open and taking appointments. Come see us on Level 0 of the Exchange Building or email us at archives@fxplus.ac.uk"A post with a blue background that reads: "About the archives. The archives are free to use for students, staff and the general public. We hold collections from both Falmouth University and the University of Exeter. This means we have lots of collections on all sorts of topics that you can use to inform your research or creative practice. You can find overviews of our collections on the university websites - see the link in our bio!"A post with a blue background that reads: "Using our collections. You'll need an appointment to see material from the archives. Email us at archives@fxplus.ac.uk to check availability. Our appointment days are Mondays, Wednesdays and alternating Thursdays and Fridays. The Special Collections (our specialised book collections) are available to browse from 10am-4pm, Monday to Friday. There's no need to book an appointment, but it's advisable to email us if you want to spend longer looking at the material so that we can make sure there's space for you."A post with a blue background reading "Where are we? The Archives & Special Collections reading room is on Level 0 of the Exchange Building on Penryn Campus. Come by and say hello!". There is a picture of the corridor looking down towards the reading room with Archives & Special Collections signage on the wall.
