A beautiful evening here alongside the Nenana River just outside Denali NP in glorious Alaska. We start our journey home tomorrow but it’s been a wonderful trip with my mother, my brother, his wife and my two nephews. Going to miss the weather here which is about 50 degrees cooler than home. 🩷🫎🐻❤️
Reviewing the route for my upcoming cruise to Alaska and, look, intellectually I know Alaska is just up the coast a bit past the land of poutine and Timbits, but I still managed to be a bit surprised that it’s not an island somewhere in the general vicinity of Hawai’i.

Had my exit interview today with my brother’s dog, Hopper, as part of his care team while his hoos have been away. I received high marks for timeliness, 🎾 throwing & buttscritch technique but an unsatisfactory for failure to put any and all existent treatage into the Hopper when clearly requested.
Apparently the weirdo who likes to go for a late evening stroll and sing along off key to music only he can hear has been at it again in our neighborhood. It’s weird because I’m usually out walking at about the same time and I’ve never run into him.
