Hey #knitsky, it’s been a while. Had some time to check in and show off that the yoke pattern is finally complete on both sleeves. Realized I get to finish this project while watching the #tourdefrance !
week 97, show me your STRIPES! #showmeyourknits Here’s one of my Purlbreak shawls by Stephen West. www.ravelry.com/patterns/lib...
#ShowMeYourKnits 🧶 week 95 is YELLOWS It’s been a while since I incorporated yellow in a project. Here’s a pair of slippers my husband somehow lost in a move and will still occasionally lament they’re missing.
It’s time for a round of ‘What’s on Your Needles?’ Week 94 of #ShowMeYourKnits; 🧶 Shocker! My Shooting Stars sweater is STILL on my needles. However, y’all be happy to see the body is finished and arm work proceeding nicely. 👍🏻 pattern by Cindy Croft
Been working 6 day weeks and squeezing in social obligations and basic chores around it all BUT I did take time to #washandblock two #summerknits today. Odele by Amy Christoffers and Skyward by Norah Gaughan 🧶 #showmeyourknits
I just bought a poplin shirt with the intention of knitting sweater vests to compliment it. Does anyone else shop for clothes based on their knits?🧶
#showmeyourknits is perfect for the Spring Equinox! Around here, it’s time to seed cold hardy crops outside like peas and spinach, prune my roses and daisies, and tuck away the snowboard gear. As both hemispheres change seasons, show me your GREENs 🥬 ! 🧶🍀🌱
Week 85, Show me What’s on Your Needles; what are you excited about?✨ Hit hard with a feverish head cold and was just wishing for a more mindless knit to do SOMETHING in my haze. The Shooting Stars sweater v2 is coming along though. #showmeyourknits 🧶
#showmeyourknits is #sweaters for getting cozy in March! My favorite thing to knit. This Fragmented Sweater (by WestKnits) was made for my husband. He picked the colorway from West Wool Tandem’s vast selection.
Oh hey! It’s been a while #knitsky. I’ve been away and took a break from socials while gone. #showmeyourknits is all about #lace this week. It’s been a while since I’ve knit lacework so here’s a crappy photo of an infinity shawl I worked up back in 2013.

No grays for #showmeyourknits this week, but I am almost finished with a side quest I’m WIPping up this month to counter the gray outside! Daybreak by #westknits because I can always use another something to tie around my neck. #wipwednesday 🧶
Early #WIPWednesday post this week to brag that I have successfully (re)knitted two rows of stars in my Shooting Stars sweater! 🧶 #showmeyourknits
Decided I need more orange in my life. Knitting up #westknits Daybreak (yes, it’s a go-to pattern for me) with #PortFiber Dance Dance Dance as the main color. This colorway is called Juicy Fruit. 🧶
Week 78 of #showmryourknits is #garterstitch! This storm is a good day to work up a project in it and binge watch something. Here’s another of #westknits Purlbreak shawl I made. www.ravelry.com/patterns/lib...
#wipupdate 🧶 #showmeyourknits Shooting Stars v2 is working up nicely. I have opted to use spindles of the yellow for each section of the yoke pattern. A method common in weaving and lacework. It’s working out better than I hoped!
Week 86 of #showmeyourknits is helping hands! Here’s a pair of owl mittens made from Elaine Fitzpatrick’s Who Gives a Hoot pattern 🧶 www.ravelry.com/patterns/lib...
Operation Fresh Start is underway! All progress on the Shooting Stars sweater has been unraveled, new plan visualized, studio saged for clarity. I’m ready to begin again. 🧶 #showmeyourknits
I highly recommend using your #swift if you have one and need to frog colorwork. It keeping the tangling threads at bay so well! 🧶 #showmeyourknits
Tried to post an update to yesterday’s debacle and somehow deleted it. Fitting for this series of errors in this project 😂 RECAP: Tried it on and it’s too tight with no way to fix without frogging. Chose to go back to arm split… 1/2 #WIPwednesday #showmeyourknits 🧶
Week 76 of #showmeyourknits is what’s on your needles?🧶 I started a test of this geometric puff from the book Knit Fold Pleat Repeat to think about possibilities. Also plugging away at the Shooting Stars sweater.
Well folks, I reached a point that I cannot ignore there is no way I have enough yarn to complete this project and have a design tweak I want to add. 😕 I bought another skein of the deep blue from #lambstringsyarn. 🤞🏻it arrives quickly 🧶 #showmeyourknits #WIP
I’ve been knitting in my studio the last couple days instead of on the couch. When I moved my project over, grabbed a blanket and invited him to join me he gave me the sincerest look of stunned joy. Now he’s draped and twitching on my lap #catintheirhappyplace
#showmeyourknits is #firsts to start the year right! Here are some my momentous knitting firsts: 1-First knit pattern was baby socks with Classic Socks by Melinda Goodfellow 2-First original knit was a cabled cowl 3-First test knit Skylar Cowl by Rastus Hsu Pattern links in alt text 🧶
In honour of the #wintersolstice and #Hanukkah, #ShowMeYourKnits week 73: show me your WHITES & BRIGHTS! I don’t use #whiteyarn much, but did finish the Looney Sweater for a party tonight.
#mending complete for #handmadeholidays! I didn’t make them too visible and those jeans were torn almost all along the pocket so chose to do my best to make that one invisible with reinforcement.
