Got to see Rosalía live last night!! Obsessed with her voice, the staging, Yudania Gómez's conducting, the choreography by (LA)HORDE, the waves of bass blasting from the speakers and through my chest...

Submission and service is often conflated. While they can certainly happen in conjunction with each other, their meanings are not interchangeable.

Spent my first night out in LA at an artist lecture by Panteha Abareshi, as part of the One Archives’ current show, NEED ME. A fascinating talk about the un-s*xing and f*tishization of the disabled body for the pleasure/use of the abled bodied onlooker and the ways their work subverts that.

A retractable projector screen sandwiched between a set of gray stairs and a black platform inside a library archive. Projected on the screen is a slide that reads, "Panteha Abareshi: On F*tishization and the Politics of Care; Need Me at the One Archive." The text is superimposed on a rainbow of colors radiating from the center of the slide. Between the artist's first and last name is an illustration of a wheelchair.

My time in SEA is now coming to a close. I'll see you soon LA! More glimpses and insights from my travels are in the works––until then, vicariously enjoy Sài Gòn's cafe scene.

Oshima's in Ho Chi Minh City. It is a tranquil cafe with a stone path in front and lots of surrounding greenery. The building itself features a veranda with a glass covering.A drink called Amber Meadow––consisting of earl grey tea, orange juice, cinnamon, and honey––on a small round table. The drink is garnished with a small yellow flower.A mirror selfie of an Asian femme with long black hair, wearing a black tank top and shorts. They are standing in a minimally designed restroom.

Hearing my peers' glowing reviews of The Maids at St. Ann's Warehouse makes my desire to see it even stronger. Hmmm, if only I were whisked off to NYC before its last performance in mid-June. Attentive playthings who've read this story of mine understand how significant this play is to me:

A photograph from the 2014 stage production of The Maids, starring Cate Blanchett and Isabelle Huppert, overlaid by text. The image depicts both actresses in front of a set consisting of a vanity and chair, floral bouquets in glass vases, and a long rack of clothing arranged by color. There is also a video projection upstage. Blanchett, a tall white woman with platinum blonde hair, snarls at her scene partner as she drags her around stage on the train of a red floor length dress. Huppert, a smaller woman with red hair, wears a maid's uniform. The text reads, "A Night at the Theater: A piece of flash fiction on the eve of my birthday in June!"

Spending my final days abroad in my beloved TP. HCM, just in time for my birthday next week. Wishing for more travel, a leather bullwhip, and patrons for my upcoming photoshoot ideas ♥️

OOTO. I’m now off to Southeast Asia! During these next 1.5 months away, I will be taking a break from scene building and D/s dynamics in order to revamp other aspects of this work—whenever I’m not busy exploring, of course! Back to my regularly scheduled programming in June.
