this espresso machine is easily one of my best investments so far in 2026 after trying a few different beans and experiments, I‘m super happy with how my daily coffee tastes 1/2

since today, Vemetric has its first customer on the 500k events plan! 🥳 (an existing user upgraded his plan) that's a huge milestone and I'm very proud to serve users with so much traffic :D

got myself a new coffee machine a few weeks ago and oh boy I‘m enjoying it a lot :D it’s my first espresso machine, and my first time using ground coffee .. so a whole new world opened up 😬

I already wanted to rework Vemetric's landing page for some time, and last week I got a push to tackle it so there you go, I just released a new Hero Section for Vemetric's LP :D happy for any kind of feedback, especially regarding the new copy

I did a thing :) My M1 Pro served me soo well in the past 5 years, an incredible machine .. but I experienced some friction recently, especially when running multiple projects and tasks simultaneously so it's time for an upgrade 🚀

yesterday I did it! I upgraded Vemetric's main analytics database (Clickhouse) to the latest version after letting it slip for a longer time now I'm already feeling so much more confident doing such upgrades and migrations in production with zero downtime .. feels great :)

Vemetric itself might not have a lot of daily users / visitors yet (around 150) .. but my users have! so it’s important to setup a proper and scalable infrastructure right from the start, so I can handle my users‘ traffic without a problem 💪

I'm currently spending a lot of time and effort on DevOps topics for Vemetric on one side because it was necessary (e.g. memory leak, bloated docker images, ..), but also because I soon want to offer a proper self-hosted version for Vemetric, which should build upon a clean base 1/2

today I had my first ever onboarding call with a new Vemetric customer (he subscribed immediately without trying the product 😅) he's doesn't have a technical background, so he needed some help with the integration, and I've explained the basics to him 1/2

the past days I tried to chase the leak, installed proper telemetry + logs and scanned the codebase for reasons .. I couldn't find any yesterday I upgraded Vemetric to the latest Bun Version and voilà: the leak is gone :) 1/2

the last two weeks I took a step back and made a pause, even from shipping my products it showed me one thing: I have a memory leak in Vemetric's Backend 😂 (before, I did continuous deployments almost every day, resetting the RAM and silently hiding it^^)
