Well, looks like the "Winnipeg storm shield" phenomenum is work well this evening. Storms trying to sneak-in from the south-west has been blocked (so far)

Coincidentally Thursday appears to have been the idea day to have changed the cabin air filter in the car. The Winnipeg air is mighty "thick" with all of the smoke and particulate from wildfires.
