I rather dislike when people leave their notifications on loud when in the office. Hearing *TIIING PLING PLOINK BLEEP* everywhere constantly with small irregular intervals is very irritating. It doesn't help that IM's and Teams *barf* have them on by default.

They genuinely want to silence the population, I hope that's clear. Age verification is partly blame avoidance for social media platforms, partly surveillance state garbage, and largely just class warfare. They want you to be silent, uninformed, and disconnected. Fight. Fight like hell.

The TOS being so strict that they control you offsite is the problem; sites like Patreon and Kofi have offsite clauses too. The social criminalization of the suggestion that somewhere you might be doing nsfw is a problem. It's branding a person as obscene and we need consumers to stand up for us
